Terms of Service

1. Service

Hemelion provides structured decision-support and self-reflection scans. Clarity audits a specific decision; MindScan creates a contextual, falsifiable pattern map from submitted responses. Each completed purchase unlocks one personalized report and its private 90-day evidence workspace for the selected scan.

Hemelion's public Remote MCP endpoint and JSON API provide six no-charge utility tools to compatible AI clients and API callers. Two create bounded, deterministic Clarity and MindScan maps from the arguments supplied in the request; the others provide routing, decision readiness, methodology information, or a short-lived website handoff. They require no Hemelion account and do not unlock checkout, private scans, or paid reports. A handoff transfers only product choice, language, integrity, and expiry to a user-confirmation page and does not give the AI client access to later scan or report data. Complete website reports and their evidence workspaces remain separate paid products.

An unlocked report may offer a reduced summary for use with an external assistant. The report owner must review, confirm, and copy it manually. Hemelion does not send it, authorize ongoing access, or take responsibility for how a third-party service handles content the user chooses to paste there.

Hemelion Pro and Clarity for Teams are manually reviewed design-partner programs. Their public pages and application forms describe current target or starting prices but do not themselves create a subscription, pilot, payment obligation, or promise of acceptance. Scope, price, term, and delivery are agreed separately in writing before any invoice.

2. Not professional advice

Reports and public-tool outputs are informational decision-support or non-clinical reflection tools. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, employment, insurance, or other professional advice. They are not diagnoses, eligibility determinations, automated approvals, or substitutes for a qualified professional in a high-impact matter.

3. Payment and delivery

  • The current one-time price is $9.90 USD per report; no subscription is created.
  • Stripe processes checkout. Hemelion does not receive or store full card details.
  • Before unlocking, Hemelion verifies the paid amount, currency, scan type, and Stripe session on the server.
  • A signature-verified Stripe webhook records successful payment even if the browser return is interrupted.
  • Pro or team design-partner fees are not collected by the public application form. Any accepted engagement is governed by its separately agreed scope and invoice.

4. Cancellations, defects, and refunds

You may leave checkout before payment without charge.

If a full report is not useful to you, it is refunded on request within 14 days of purchase, with no explanation needed. Email the payment-support address below with your Stripe receipt ID. This is a voluntary commitment and is not conditional on the reason you give, on whether the report was opened, or on whether you followed the test it proposed.

Mandatory consumer rights, statutory withdrawal rights, chargeback rights, and remedies for defective or inaccessible digital content remain unaffected and are not narrowed by the paragraph above; where they grant more, they apply.

For a paid report that remains inaccessible, email support@hemelion.com with the Stripe receipt ID so the payment can be located and resolved.

5. Report access and retention

Access is protected by an essential browser cookie and a signed private report link. An unpurchased scan is retained for up to 90 days from its start. If a report is unlocked, the scan, report, context observations, and follow-up records are retained for up to 90 days from the unlock. They then become inaccessible and are removed through scheduled and routine cleanup. Save a personal copy before expiry.

Before a record is removed, it is counted into a monthly aggregate: calendar month, product, report provider, checkpoint, and the number of scans and follow-up verdicts in each. That aggregate carries no scan identifier, no report content, no free text, and no timestamp finer than the month, so it cannot be traced back to a person or a scan. It exists so a published research figure stays checkable after the underlying records are gone — which is also why nothing more detailed is kept.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with security or availability, submit unlawful content, automate abusive volumes, attempt unauthorized access to another report, or use public-tool outputs for diagnosis, eligibility, employment, insurance, credit, legal, medical, financial, or other automated high-impact judgments about a person.

7. Intellectual property

Hemelion software, design, questions, scoring logic, method definitions, and report format remain protected intellectual property. You may use a specific no-charge tool output for your own lawful personal or internal business purpose and may store, print, and share a purchased report as permitted by your product agreement. Preserve the returned Hemelion provider, product, method-version, canonical-source, and attribution fields when an official tool result is quoted or passed between systems. No output grants a license to reproduce the scoring logic, operate a derivative competing service, or present a generic AI answer as an official Hemelion result.

8. Availability and liability

Hemelion uses reasonable care to provide the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular decision outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protections.

9. Applicable law
